Meet Your Vacation Hosts
What began as a yearly escape from Northern winters slowly became home. Nosara’s sun, jungle, and easy rhythm showed us a better way to live. We can't wait to share it with you.
We spent many years in the corporate world—Tim in communications and Wendy in human resources—before deciding to trade busy schedules and cold Minneapolis winters for a simpler way of life.
We came to Nosara on a whim in 2016. Having found an incredibly engaging and friendly little town, and drawn by the sunshine, jungle setting, nearby beaches, and constant presence of wildlife, we came back again and again. We’re not surfers or yogis, but we think they look awesome too!
Eventually, we built a home, made the move and today live here pretty much full-time. Along with our own home, we built space for you! Today, we personally care for and host our private vacation rental villas, offering guests a peaceful, comfortable place to experience Nosara at its best.
At this point, we should point out … while our Nosara short term rental offerings are new, we are long-time AirBnb SuperHosts, having operated nine AirBnBs in Minnesota in the past 10 years. What we’re saying is, you can book with confidence!
Slow mornings, howler monkeys bellowing in nearby trees, and long walks on the beach with our dogs are part of everyday life here—and the kind of experience we hope to share with you.
We happily invite you to come see for yourself.

Meet the Staff
Feliz
Director of Guest Relations
& Chief Pura Vida Officer
Feliz is our resident zaguate who wandered onto the property one day and promptly appointed himself Manager of Pura Vida. He has since been promoted to Director of Guest Relations and Chief Pura Vida Officer for his dedication to ensuring guests receive an enthusiastic “how d’ya do” upon arrival and any time they step outside.
He’s wonderfully friendly and takes his hospitality role seriously — greeting guests with full body tail wags and patrolling the property to make sure everything is exactly as it should be.
He only visits villas when invited (and he takes invitations very seriously). On more than one occasion, management has gone looking for him, only to discover he was with a guest enjoying an approved visit and possibly a meal — once a dinner of fresh ground beef (which management does not encourage).
His services are clearly in demand.
